Let me just start off by saying that I am a country mouse through and through. I went to Los Angeles for my girlfriends bachelorette party over the Labor Day weekend. Now I am VERY comfortable in big cities. Stick me in a fancy restaurant in San Francisco and I will completely blend, but boy did I stick out like a sore thumb in LA! I felt like I had a sign above my head flashing "COUNTRY BUMPKIN!!!" I cannot stand that city, I don't like anything about it: The traffic, the attitudes, the snotty salespeople, the airports, blah blah blah! In fact when we went out to dinner in Malibu, the restaurant charged us $24.00 for our WATER!!! It was unbelievable! Enter the country bumpkin mentality "Now how do they get off chargin' us that kinda dough for that there water?" Well the weekend was not about me or my cheapness. We did our best to get Tara sloshed and our mission was accomplished as of 8am on Sunday morning. But we knew that was coming after Tara did her best impression of a frustrated Homemaker (see above picture). Now don't get me wrong, we went to some really beautiful "fancy" places, but hell....all I wanted to do was go home and go to the little Mexican Cantina down the street, at least the water is free!
